Deletion

[edit]

DO NOT DELETE THIS PAGE. This is about an MMORPG by the company Tale of Tales. It is not about a website. Wikipedia has many articles about games and they are not being deleted, so this game should not be deleted either. WebSiter100 (talk) 06:25, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assuming you can find references to support some of the unreferenced claims, the article looks pretty good to me. SharkD (talk) 11:33, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Good job finding all the references. However, now that references have been found, they need to all be individually judged for appropriateness in a Wikipedia article. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources for guidelines as to what does and does not qualify as a good source. Generally, links to the Tale of Tales website/forum are OK if they support facts (mainly in the form of developer quotes) regarding a game's development history. The references proving the various exhibitions the game has been featured in are OK, too, IMO. They cannot be used, however, when someone (a non-developer for instance) passes judgement upon the game. I.e. quoting a forum user who says, "This game/feature is good/bad/better/worse" is not appropriate. This goes for the other sources as well: any time an opinion or analysis is given, said person(s) must be proven reliable as per Wikipedia standards. Please read Wikipedia:Verifiability. We have looked over many of these, and the ones we have looked over are reliable. Does the article now fit the Wikipedia standards???? I'm assuming Wikipedia is going to keep the article now, but when can we take off the deletion notice? We fit all the standards. We just have to finish up the referencing. An admin will resolve the debate within a day or two. I'll leave it to others to continue with the critique of the article. I've done about as much as I'd planned on if not more. SharkD (talk) 01:07, 2 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

I didn't do so, but the references need to be changed so that they use the {{cite web}} template. SharkD (talk) 11:28, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Goons

Someone should probably throw in a section about the trouble the Something Awful team caused in the Endless Forest. I understand it was one of the few times anything interesting actually happened in the game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.106.85.43 (talk) 18:50, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on The Endless Forest. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
