critical response
[edit]I have some issues with this as of the 2 February 2024 revision:
- The citation supporting the claim of "mixed reviews" does not refer to the "first sequence" but to a sequel, so it is just not valid here.
- The Frightfest review cited in early versions of this article calls it a "disappointment"; as best as I could tell, the bulk of the ratings at Metacritic were in the negative.
- While it received awards at several horror film festivals, that's pertinent to the following section.
My feeling about this isn't strong, but I think "mostly negative" would be more accurate than "mixed". Fabrickator (talk) 04:20, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
