Motivation & Financial Background

[edit]

Unfortunately I was unable to find any source on the driving force behind that YouTube channel and came to WP in order to find out more ... Obviously motivation could be "anti-war" or simply economical or educational or all of the above or something else. I would like to know if there's "somebody" behind the whole thing, some political organisation, NGO, whatever or if this is the baby of Indy himself ... Who had the idea ? The money ? ... Just to make sure: The answer to the questions posed here has no direct relation to the value of the series. I personally think that the presentation seems to be balanced. However the rule in these cases is always "follow the money" and hiding the background of such a series is suspicious in our times of fake news. Even the "Making of ..." did not mention anything about all this. While it is not the task of WP to investigate - I note that the information is missing, because this is the place to write how the WP article could improve to become even more valuable to the reader. OK, now I found that information in a YouTube clip named "Interview with Indy Neidell". Seems like
it really was a purely economic decision ... a search for a YouTube channel able to "take off" ...
