Height and Number of Floors

[edit]

Does anyone know exactly how many floors the Palace has, and what its height is to the top of the dome finial? I can count 7 floors on the Palace. Also, I think there needs to be a better distinction made between the Palace and the Tower, including that the tower was completed in 1973. The room count for the hotel listed if for both hotels combined, BTW. Perhaps, we such as two sections, one dealing with the Palace and one dealing with the Tower. --Criticalthinker (talk) 11:48, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The hotel is being incorrectly referred to as Taj Mahal Palace. The correct name is Taj Palace.

In 1993

[edit]

I organized an international conference at the Taj in 1993. I was surprised how plain the hotels interior staircases were. Apparently the interior has been tastefully redone after 2008. Malaiya (talk) 03:30, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hotel Grand Palace?

[edit]

"Hotel Grand Palace is another name for Hotel Taj Mahal" Is it? The Hotel Grand Palace Inn is a different establishment. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 17:02, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The Taj Mahal Palace HotelTaj Mahal Palace Hotel – The "The" is not a part of the name, this is not like "The Pierre". Gryffindor (talk) 19:09, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: The article name is correct per the official website. Tamravidhir (talk) 10:11, 1 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
