User:Leszek Jańczuk was so convinced that a Sinaiticus is a noun, that he moved the article to Syriac Sinaiticus from Sinaitic Palimpsest. --Wetman (talk) 15:46, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Which is it? Or is it both?

[edit]

The article is called "Syriac Sinaiticus" (ending "us"). The lead immediately states "Syriac Sinaitic" (no "us"). There is a redirect from the latter.

Surely the article title and lead ought to agree on the name. Should one be changed? Or should the lead open with: "The Syriac Sinaiticus (or Syriac Sinaitic) ..."?

Awful abbreviations

[edit]

Can one disambiguate and wikify these awful TLAs:

Matthew 12:47 is omitted, as in א*, B, L, Γ, 1009, ℓ 12, ff1, k, syrc, copsa.[6]

? It is hard to read as such. Zezen (talk) 14:11, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
