Birth

[edit]

Born in Paris but is British? Seems like quite a contradiction. I cleaned up the Biography section, but I think it would still benefit from an introductory paragraphy about Stuart Price's earlier work/life. I'll try and get to this myself sooner or later, but it'll involve some research on my part. If you happen to be an expert, feel free to add!Runch 18:11, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure he claims he's english - he pretty much grew up there from birth. He moved from france at a very early age. That doesn't make him 'French' 68.81.71.188 (talk) 23:23, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New Order

[edit]

The New Order song he is nominated for production is actually titled "Guilt is a Useless Emotion." He did recently remix Depeche Mode's "A Pain that I'm Used to."

Also, he privately released an album with a band called "Sister Spliff and the Frustrated Monks" (he was the bassist) whilst at School. It sold about 85 copies to friends and fans and copies of this must be gold dust now. The band chickened out of calling themselves SSFM as they were selling the album in school so changed their name at the last minute to "The Ashes" (the album was called "Suicide Note".

Why post that here and not on the article itself? Mushintalk 16:20, 3 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Neutral point of view

phrases like much coveted by these people.

Sorry- I don't have the exact details- but I'm sure that there is a Thin White Duke Remix on The Faint's "Danse Macabre Remixes". I don't have time to do the exact details- and am not 100% au fait with editing wikipedia- so I'll trust you guys ;)

Yeah, exactly. These people are rich enough to pay for it, they don't 'covet' it. It's completely the wrong word. His work may be in demand, but it's not coveted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.164.21.66 (talk) 06:08, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Remixography

[edit]

This article is getting a little messy in terms of the content that is listed is not organised chronologically. Can I suggest a subcategory of Remixography and Discography as well as prodution duties? That would make the whole thing much easier to read. - Istabo (talk) 20:27, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have started a remixography table, which needs to be continued. Feel free to organise or change the way it looks, as well as update it when required. Istabo (talk) 20:14, 29 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Almost a decade culminating in 2005"

[edit]

The article says that "Price is best known for his work with Madonna which spanned almost a decade culminating in Madonna's tenth studio album Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005). He began collaborating with Madonna as musical director for her 2001 Drowned World Tour." This reads like Price collaborated with Madonna from 2001 to 2005, which is obviously not "almost a decade." It would be good if someone could clarify this.VoluntarySlave (talk) 10:47, 15 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
