Soccer or Association football
[edit]Association football is the proper and most used name. Wikipedia isn't just for Americans, but for the entire world. Soccer is a controversial term only used in America. Therefor it should be avoided and Association football should be used. As this term is not controversial and accepted worldwide. "Association" should be added to avoid confusion with other types of football.
It's also an excellent compromise between Americans and Brits to use neither "soccer" or "football". Association football is not only the most correct term, but also one that is acceptable for the entire world, unlike soccer.

Sports game → Sports video game – As per WP:CONCISE, the title needs to be clear and concise. "Sports game" is confusing, as that term is also used for the actual real-life sports themselves. "Sports video game" is more clear and concise, specifically referring to electronic video games that simulate sports. Maestro2016 (talk) 11:57, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
- Support. Many computer and video game magazines call them "sports games" but that's in a video game specific context anyway. Wikipedia is a general encyclopedia so it does not have such a context. "Sports game" could just as well refer to actual sports. JIP | Talk 13:50, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
