What?

[edit]

First it says that Shannon is married to a woman named Crystal and now he is dating Droz's ex-wife? Did he did divorced or are they sepearated? Just wondering User:MgHoneyBee Mar.23,2006

Shannon is still married to Crystal, happily as far as it has been reported. I keep trying to change the profile, but no one is getting the hint. -Ashlee

RE: Prince of Punk Is this a TNA trademark because he did mention it on ECW on 5th Sept? - Raju

He is actually now divorced. He married Crystal on November 2nd, 2002 and they got divorced sometime during 2005. [ShannonMooreFan edited: Sunday, 15th December, 2007]

Breaking Kayfabe

[edit]

Supposedly he broke kayfabe at a house show, hence he was punished by being squashed by Punk rather than being given a real feud. ANy info to back this up?

I've heard the same rumor, but it's only a rumor at this point. Bdve 12:14, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The story goes that he was getting a bad reaction (was supposed ot be face), and then worked the heat by getting on the mic and yelling that he's not there to impress the internet. This sort of thing it quite common in house shows - playing off the crowd however it works, because it doesn't affect the global audience. Unfortunately it seems that Moore was beneath whatever invisible level of creative freedom needed.

Theme Songs

[edit]

Somebody changed it to say that his ECW theme song is called "I Don't Know Anything" by Mad Season. I looked up this song on Google and the lyrics DID NOT match the lyrics to his song which can be downloaded at his website. I'm going to change it back to what it said before.

That was me. I got bad information, my bad.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 20:15, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Moore's latest theme "I'll Do Anything" is an instrumental of a production track. The track could be found at BMG Zomba when looking for an album called "Cali Punk". I hope that helps. --Oakster (Talk) 21:00, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd just like to point out that his website doesn't work anymore.

TNA

[edit]

"On the January 1, 2006 episode of iMPACT!, Moore began a program with A.J. Styles, attacking him during a tag team match and preventing him and partner Christopher Daniels from winning the NWA World Tag Team Championship. He continued to stalk Styles, attacking him and stealing his "Mr. TNA" award plaque, leading to a street fight between the two, which Styles won after interference from Daniels. Afterwards Moore joined the X Division."

That's wrong; Shannon Moore won that match, not Styles. Can somebody fix that?

Changed, but next time feel free to Be Bold!.«»bd(talk stalk) 03:04, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tag Team NO

[edit]

Shannon Moore and Jimmy Wang Yang are NOT an offical tag team for they have had only one tag match togheter so for under WWE Roster I think that should be removed immediately —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.240.147.217 (talk) 01:31, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

They are now considered a tag team for Smackdown! [ShannonMooreFan edited: Sunday, 15th December, 2007]

His moves list

[edit]

This seriously needs some cleaning up, there's just too many "normal moves" in there, which aren't really ones he uses in every match. TheHeartbreakKid15 16:46, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other Shannon Moore

[edit]

There needs to be a disambiguation page for the title "Shannon Moore" as there is a musical artist by the name of "Shannon Moore".

Braves Fan?

[edit]

Should it be listed somewhere that he is an Atlanta Braves fan? He is often seen in Public, and on his section of Superstar ink wearing an Atlanta Braves hat.-Blackmachismo131 (talk) 03:36, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Moore's Asai moonsault

[edit]

Shannon Moore does his Asai moonsault off the third rope rather than off the second like most wrestlers who use the move do. Is this noteworthy enough to include in the movelist? McJeff (talk) 22:23, 23 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Shannon Moore

[edit]
Orphaned references

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Shannon Moore's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "OWOW":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 07:20, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reviewing

Reviewer: Miyagawa (talk) 22:17, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll be reviewing this article, I'll give it a read through now and added any points or questions below. A little titbit is that back in the days when I followed wrestling like crazy (it's now limited to the occasional Saturday morning repeat when the wife is sleeping in!), I went to one of the UK only WWE PPVs where Shannon Moore was fighting in the dark match. Can't remember who his opponent was, but I remember that he didn't leave back up the ramp and went through a side exit right below where we were sitting. Anyway... I'll get to that review now... Miyagawa (talk) 22:17, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (2001–2005): "In March 2001, the World Wrestling Federation purchased WCW, and Moore's contract was included in the purchase." - Perhaps "...purchased WCW, which included Moore's contract." Just a way to get out of repeating purchased/purchase.
  • "which saw Moore wrestle under a mask as "El Gran Luchadore".[32] Moore faced John "Bradshaw" Layfield" - would flow better if the two sentences were merged with a comma rather than breaking them up using a full stop.

I think that's everything. :) Miyagawa (talk) 23:20, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I apologise for the delay - real-life got rather hectic this week. Thanks for the review! NiciVampireHeart 14:30, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the response, happy to pass this as a GA now - on Wikipedia's 10th birthday! Miyagawa (talk) 14:43, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks so much! NiciVampireHeart 14:47, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
