Copy editing

[edit]

It may be worth doing some copy-editing from http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Scarborough_Castle as the licenses are compatible. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.44.17.78 (talk) 17:23, 7 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reordered

[edit]

I put the History section first as it seemed more logical. Feel free to revert but I think it might help explain the archaeology if the history goes first. The features/archaeology section, I find very confusing, to say the least, but I will attempt to make more sense of it later. It's possible I will be visiting Scarborough later in the month so I might even visit the castle.--J3Mrs (talk) 09:22, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

former medieval Royal fortress?

[edit]

formerly medieval? formerly Royal? formerly a fortress? formerly medieval Royal? "formerly Royal, now ruined, medieval fortress"?

Reportedly Haunted Category

[edit]

As I can’t see any reference to reports of the castle being “haunted”, would anyone object if I removed the Category? KJP1 (talk) 07:37, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

KJP1 There is a short sentence about ghosts in the Scarborough Castle#Development as a tourist attraction section. Regards. The joy of all things (talk) 08:34, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
