Singles
[edit]I found a page showing that If It's Love did indeed become a single, and not only that, it had the radio version of it as well. But what I was wondering is where you found the information for the charting songs of If It's Love and Save Me San Francisco. I looked at AllMusic.com (a pretty reliable source), and only found that Hey Soul Sister charted. Can someone give me a link to where If It's Love and Save Me San Francisco charted? And if you do have links, can you please put them as sources in the article?
I was also wondering if I should put If It's Love and Save Me San Francisco on the Train discography page as singles. If anything, Save Me San Francisco is at least a radio single, so it should be on there. I think If It's Love is a single, because I found what it seems to be a pretty reliable webpage, as mentioned before, stating it is a single.
Any comments or considerations of these matters would be most apprehensive. Mackerni888 (talk) 06:28, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- Here's their chart history on Billboard, showing If It's Love (peaked at #34 on the Hot 100), but not Save Me San Francisco (hasn't charted as of today). Hoof Hearted (talk) 12:58, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
The Finish Line
[edit]The Finish Line is a single, if only a digital single, of Save Me San Francisco. I know it's only a pre-order bonus track, but iTunes and other online websites have released it as a single with even its' own single art, something that not every Train single can be said. Please stop removing the information about The Finish Line from the appropriate websites it should be on.
Thank you. Mackerni888 (talk) 18:28, 25 May 2010 (UTC)
- Take a read of WP:MUSIC. At the very least, a song must chart before being considered notable enough for a stand alone article. Even then, most songs do not pass the general notability guideline, and thus should still redirect to the album. Nouse4aname (talk) 07:44, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
