Johnbod Good Morning. I'm over here, trying to eliminate redlinks on the Marciana page by creating at least stub articles. I've started the page on Santa Maria del Canneto (also Santa Maria Formosa) in Pula, Croatia. Do you have any experience with/knowledge about adding authority control and coordinates? Any help would be greatly appreciated. How are you? Any sign of the pandemia abating where you are?Venicescapes (talk) 04:55, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- I found coordinates. I still have no idea about authority control.Venicescapes (talk) 08:31, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
- Just add in the template - copy from another article. Then check it produces some useful links, which it may not. Johnbod (talk) 12:49, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- OK. I put the template in.Venicescapes (talk) 14:07, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

Johnbod Hello again. I have another question. Do you have experience with disambiguation templates? Since the church can also be called Santa Maria Formosa, it would be nice to distinguish it from the church in Venice of the same name.Venicescapes (talk) 11:07, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
Johnbod Something else. The page is not showing up on a search. When I search for "Santa Maria del Canneto", the results say that the page does not exist, BUT it is among the suggestions. Did I do something wrong when I created the page?Venicescapes (talk) 06:20, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- Santa Maria del Canneto (Pula, Croatia) exists, Santa Maria del Canneto does not"! Best set up a redirect. Johnbod (talk) 12:49, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
- Ok. Thanks for checking.Venicescapes (talk) 14:07, 11 May 2020 (UTC)

Johnbod Hello. The page is almost finished. Once the library reopens ... I'm still waiting ... I hope to add some more information about Sansovino's role. If you have a moment, could you please take a look at quality and importance. I immagine it's low importance. But I'm not sure about quality. On another matter, it's still not showing up in the search box. If you start to type "Santa Maria del Canneto (Pula, Croatia), it never shows as a suggestion. If you type it exactly right, you'll get to the page ... otherwise not. Any ideas?Venicescapes (talk) 18:22, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- I've done a redirect & tweaks, including adding a link at Pola. You should think what other links to it could reasonably be added. A picture caption describes it as a basilica (title rather than form). Is this this correct? Johnbod (talk) 18:42, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
- Johnbod Thank you for taking the time. I'll add some more links to the page. I'll also expand the part about Sansovino when the library opens. As I remember, he was sent by the procurators (it was under their jurisdiction) to look into restoring the church but decided that the work was too extensive.Venicescapes (talk) 13:25, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
