Possible merger with existing draft with the same name
[edit]Hello Wikipedia users, There is currently a draft I have been working on since January 17, 2018 that is named similarly to this article with the same type of content (electronics, smartphones). Is it possible to see a merger with these two pages so that the draft could be redirected? I hope to hear a favorable reply. Thank you and sincerely yours, Cosecant57 (talk) 12:11, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
- If there's relevant content missing from the current article, then add it in, Cosecant57. The draft's language like "humongous" shouldn't be carried across and speculation/rumours might not be so relevant. Fences&Windows 16:05, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
"Cinema"?
[edit]Is there a cinema with a semi-folding screen and totally enveloping the room? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.38.65.148 (talk) 12:14, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Yeah, in Amsterdam. There is a cinema where the staff fold the screen to make it bigger if more people join. It closed a while ago due to a fault. Fold is too visible to the audience. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.115.176.213 (talk) 20:20, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
Dimensions?
[edit]OK, I know the way of stating them may have to be a bit unconventional because of its unique nature (especially as it's not actually cuboid when folded), but does anyone have the outline dimensions for this phone, at all? Even if you own it and have to temporarily add in measurements you've taken with a ruler as O.R. data until Samsung actually publish them? I've not been able to find anywhere that's stated them so far. There's a whole load of talk about the internal tech specs, the diagonal size of the screens (but oddly not the resolution), etc, but the simple raw data about how big (both when folded and open) and how heavy it is has gone missing.
I mean, it's not something I could personally afford right now, but I've been waiting both for a high spec phone with a narrower body than the typical top-end phablets (without being too fussed about thickness, I've used enough older handsets that are thicker than two modern ones stacked together) for ages now, as well as a 7~8 inch tablet that's a bit easier to cart around hands-free without needing either a bag or huge pockets... and bam, this device seems to answer both of those desires at once. But without that fairly rudimentary information it's impossible to know whether I should be excited for the future (with other marques rushing to compete on equal terms, and that competition driving the price down) because it would actually fit nicely in my hands and pockets without weighing too much, or whether I should abandon the hope straight away to avoid future disappointment because it's a lead brick, as thick as a late 90s starter phone when folded, yet still too wide to comfortably hold and operate in a single hand that can barely stretch wide enough to cover a single octave on a piano... 146.199.60.6 (talk) 03:24, 21 April 2019 (UTC)
Possible article cleanup?
[edit]The whole format of the article might have to change if Samsung really is revoking the current (April 2018) design of the Galaxy Fold. ⠀— Glosome 05:26, 26 April 2019 (UTC)
Cleanup for the whole article
[edit]This is just a note from the edit that I made here. The problem was that the tone isn't formal enough. Pictures and Evidences needed. I would like to suggest a whole article cleanup if necessary. But then, I'll going to leave the section cleanup here. 112.200.2.204 (talk) 04:07, 27 September 2019 (UTC)

Retroactively being named "Samsung Galaxy Z Fold"?
[edit]Both this page and the page for the Samsung Galaxy Z series in general say that it has been retoroactively renamed. I can't find a source for this, all mentions on Samsung's site say "Samsung Galaxy Fold". Does anyone else know? Aluminite (talk) 02:17, 9 April 2021 (UTC)
Discussion about Samsung Galaxy X
[edit]There is a discussion at Samsung Galaxy X regarding the appropriate target for that redirect. Editors, especially those with knowledge of Samsung Galaxy products, are invited to share their views there. — Archer1234 (t·c) 18:37, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
