Saint James, Jamestown → Saint James' Church, Jamestown – Current name is confusing; most articles with such name formations are about places not churches, eg Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago and Saint James, Ohio. 2A02:C7F:4481:8300:90DC:E235:5074:54B0 (talk) 20:55, 7 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose It is not confusing.Neutrale Person (talk) 00:13, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- OK, to put it differently; why would the change of name not be clearer? 2A02:C7F:4481:8300:90DC:E235:5074:54B0 (talk) 12:34, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- Support as the naming convention is overwhelming in favour of including Church within the article title. The DAB page has a considerable amount of churches by the same name across many regions and countries including "church" in the title. It seems "Saint/St James" is a name for many churches too and so it would be wise to remove any ambiguity. Bungle (talk • contribs) 20:26, 8 September 2019 (UTC)
- Support this is the usual format for churches even though the "Church" might be dropped in some cases, see Category:Grade II listed churches in Cumbria. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:15, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
