Notability
[edit]Is this fighter notable. Has only fought once for top tier organisation. For now would suggest page can be held in sandbox until such point that he is considered notable. If this ones allowed, then means we have no reason to object to pages for the countless other non notable mma fighters. Dimspace (talk) 23:16, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
- Comment Fighter clearly satisfies the first criteria of WP:NMMA. Clearly satisfies the notability guidelines. Safiel (talk) 00:35, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
- Really? He has fought only once for a Top Tier organisation - the minimum is three. Top tier is defined in WP:MMATIER. If this article is brought to AfD I would vote to USERFY.Peter Rehse (talk) 07:50, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
- Legacy are not a top tier organisation. not even close. Whoever did the page put in a fair amount of work, but really they should just sandbox it until he fulfils the criteria. Especially when we have champions of 2nd tier organisations who are prevented wiki pages for the same reasons Dimspace (talk) 17:32, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
Well i'm glad it's here - been waiting for this page for a while, and looking at the interest vs. Paige Vanzant on | Google Trends a lot of other people will find this wikipedia entry useful too.158.222.220.132 (talk) 03:33, 2 November 2015 (UTC)
- Agreed. Sage is subject of a lot of media and fan attention and is notable despite the single top tier fight. I would be floored if I came to Wikipedia and did not find a Sage Northcutt article to complement his mainstream coverage. Zyarb (talk) 21:28, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Yep. MMANOT is only for those who fail the GNG. InedibleHulk (talk) 08:45, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
