Renamed to just Safran?
[edit]Looking at the website, www.turbomeca.com now redirects to www.safran-helicopter-engines.com , and i can’t find any mention of “Torbomeca” on their site. So it looks like they more or less quietly renamed themselves and dropped “Turbomeca” as a name. ospalh (talk) 08:33, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, Safran Helicopter Engines appears to be the name now being used in reliable sources. Given the long history of the name "Turbomeca", I think we should convert the article to cover it as a defunct company, and use the Safran page for current and upcoming information. The alternatives are to either move this page to Safran Helicopter Engines, or create a new article at that title. As an aside Finnemecanica disolved its historical divisions and is renaming the company Leonardo, and Airbus Group is becoming simply Airbus. These companies aren't making it easy to be Wikipedia editors! - BilCat (talk) 08:48, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
- I renamed it.--Marc Lacoste (talk) 06:11, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
