Growth and transition section
[edit]This section still needs a bit of help with reliable sources, but I've included it for now to try to get help from the community. It's just difficult to get information about Rideau as the Stephenson Company because it was a while back and no longer exists. We can cut it out eventually, and it is tagged accordingly, but I'd like to nominate the article for WP:DYK and see what kind of help we can get with the sourcing.
