Cover
[edit]In articles on music recordings, I've seen editors changing re-recording to cover and vice-versa. It strikes me that WP ought to contain information about the difference between the two terms in this context -- possibly in a section of this article which could be reached by a redirect from Cover (music), or possibly in a separate article. I edit a lot of articles, but I know very little about the music industry; it is better if some other editor do this. I did look for some info on this outside of WP, and found "The Difference between a re-make and a cover". history-of-rock.com. Retrieved November 12, 2021. There are probably other sources with info on this out there. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 12:25, 12 November 2021 (UTC)
