Proposed Added Content to the Markets Section
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest was declined. |
We would like to add the following text to the Markets section:
Profire specializes in providing burner management and combustion control solutions primarily to North American markets. Profire products have been successfully distributed and installed in Australia, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria, South America, India and other international markets. Profire Energy (talk) 22:23, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: Wording appears promotional in intent. Axad12 (talk) 06:34, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
UPE tag added
[edit]Article was created and subsequently edited by a succession of red line SPAs and IP addresses. Recent attempts to directly edit the article suggest that this overall editing pattern was undeclared paid editing. This impression is reinforced by off Wiki evidence. Overview Amendment
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Can we have the office location section of the overview updated to the following:
Profire is headquartered in Lindon, Utah. With offices and warehouses in Acheson, Alberta; Homer, Pennsylvania; Midland-Odessa & Victoria, Texas; and Millersburg, Ohio. Sush at Profire Energy (talk) 18:13, 8 August 2024 (UTC)
- Sush at Profire Energy I have marked this section as a formal edit request so it is seen by other editors beyond those that may be following this page. 331dot (talk) 06:52, 11 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Sush at Profire Energy, could you please provide a source for this information? Thanks! Rusalkii (talk) 22:48, 13 August 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Rusalkii the source would be from one of Profire's press releases in the boilerplate, hope this is acceptable: Profire Energy Reports Financial Results for First Quarter 2024 - Energy News, Top Headlines, Commentaries, Features & Events - EnergyNow.com Sush at Profire Energy (talk) 15:01, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- This source doesn't say anything about headquarters, just that it has offices there. It also doesn't mention warehouses, and your proposed text doesn't have Greeley, Colorado, which is in the source. Rusalkii (talk) 20:12, 14 August 2024 (UTC)
- @Rusalkii okay then say it like it is in the press release please.

- Done I don't love the list of offices with no context, but it's in already and having it be up-to-date and sourced is unambiguously an improvement. Rusalkii (talk) 23:20, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
