Edit revert
[edit]Jean-Pol GRANDMONT, Good Morning, you recently changed a photograph and added another. I reverted the edit. The substitute photo did not adequently show the Procuratie Vecchie nor the layout of the square with the three procuratie. It was also less detailed than the original photograph. The second photograph you added had a completely unrelated caption ("Gallery of Procuratie Vecchie (Guillaume Grigi "Ie Bergamasque" - 1538) in Venice") and was unrelated to the section where it was placed.
As I have previously written, I fully understand your desire to share your photographs. But I urge caution. Photographs should be integrated into the article. The image use policy is here. Simply adding photos of the square from different viewpoints is not appropriate. There is already a link on the page to Wikimedia where readers can find all of the available photos.
Also, articles that have reached FA and GA status have had an image review. So changing or adding images has the potential to be problematic. Further, as I wrote before, you need to add all of the appropriate licenses to your photographs. They need a US PD tag and, since Italy doesn't have freedom of panorama, the images of 3D works should include explicit PD tags. The photographs you added did not have these tags.Venicescapes (talk) 13:11, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
