Old talk
[edit]Note: Nudel'man gives 82S 54E; so does [1]. The confusion probably arises of what was then and is now known about the shape of antarctica. William M. Connolley 20:29, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
Use after December 1958
[edit]Has the station never been used after December 1958? Was it built with the intention of using it for a few days in December 1958? Why would anybody erect buildings and a statue if it was clear that they wouldn't be used ever after? If there were plans to use the station again, why have they never been carried out? 21:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

Pole of Inaccessibility (Antarctic research station) → Pole of Inaccessibility research station – Per WP:NATURALDISAMBIG. Rublov (talk) 17:47, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- Support, especially with lower case research station, as that seems to best match the sources. --Cerebral726 (talk) 14:31, 4 November 2021 (UTC)
- Support per User:Cerebral1726 and natural disambiguation, also this is about a research station at the Pole of Inaccessibility, not about a research station named "Pole of Inaccessibility". JIP | Talk 17:31, 8 November 2021 (UTC)
