[edit]Manzoni's work makes almost no sense as a stand-alone concept. Manzoni was keenly aware of the power of irony in the post-modern sense, right down to his death which closely followed that of Yves Klein. You can look it up.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.30.181.214 (talk) 29 August 2006
- Almost?
- Perhaps he was aware that he had the power to make people, including prestigious art museums, look incredibly foolish and used it to full advantage? That would explain Artist's shit. KarlM (talk) 08:21, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
Shit indeed
[edit]Even by Wikipedia's very modest standards, this article is remarkably poor. For starters the unsourced statement that Manzoni is "best known for his ironic approach to avant-garde art" reveals an idiotic misunderstanding of Manzoni's work and of conceptual art in general. No article would be better than such a heap of crap.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.42.58.144 (talk) 21 June 2015
