We should have an article on every pyramid and every nome in Ancient Egypt. I'm sure the rest of us can think of other articles we should have.
Cleanup.
To start with, most of the general history articles badly need attention. And I'm told that at least some of the dynasty articles need work. Any other candidates?
Standardize the Chronology.
A boring task, but the benefit of doing it is that you can set the dates !(e.g., why say Khufu lived 2589-2566? As long as you keep the length of his reign correct, or cite a respected source, you can date it 2590-2567 or 2585-2563)
Stub sorting
Anyone? I consider this probably the most unimportant of tasks on Wikipedia, but if you believe it needs to be done . . .
Data sorting.
This is a project I'd like to take on some day, & could be applied to more of Wikipedia than just Ancient Egypt. Take one of the standard authorities of history or culture -- Herotodus, the Elder Pliny, the writings of Breasted or Kenneth Kitchen, & see if you can't smoothly merge quotations or information into relevant articles. Probably a good exercise for someone who owns one of those impressive texts, yet can't get access to a research library.

The article states that the "Rabbinic Midrash makes her [Bithiah] the daughter of one of the Pharaohs of the Exodus", and then gives a link to the [Pharaohs of the Exodus]. However, on following up on this link, there is a list of eight Pharaohs, but the connection of this list with the Rabbinic Midrash is anything but clear !

It is interesting that her name is also given as Merris or Merrhoe, and the name of her husband as Mered. Das Baz, aka Erudil 18:55, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've always learned it as Batya. I don't know if Bitya works grammatically. She is renamed from Bat-Paroh (Daughter of Pharaoh) to Bat-Ya (Daughter of God) because she followed in the latter's ways instead of the former. I wonder what the correct pronunciation is. In Modern Israeli society there are many people named Batya but I don't know of any named Bitya. Any ideas? Valley2city‽10:39, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have just modified one external link on Bithiah. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:

Johnbod, IMO both. None has any cites, and the appearance of this biblical character in these dramas is of minor importance for this article, unless there are good sources that spend text on this portrayal. I haven't looked for sources yet. To make a WP:OSE comparison, I think this [1] is an improvement. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 14:03, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I suspect the films will be what bring many, possibly most, readers here. By all means condense stray listings, but I think the actors should be kept, especially when they are big stars like Michelle Pfeiffer. Johnbod (talk) 14:23, 7 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The films may be what brings many readers here, but absent sources, they are of minor importance from the WP-perspective. That Helen Mirren voiced her matters little in this article. Btw, I can't remember seeing "portrayed by" in an infobox like this before, and I can't say I like it. Going WP:OSE again, there's no Charlton Heston at Moses' infobox.
