Merge with Philosophical Pessimism?

[edit]

This entry seems very brief, with very little unique content. Might it make more sense to turn it into a subsection of the larger article on Philosophical Pessimism? ScottForschler (talk) 11:39, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I would support merging into history of philosophical pessimism. Throughthemind (talk) 14:33, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I support this decision; this article ("Pessimism controversy") should be merged into the "Post-Schopenhauerian pessimism" section on the "History of philosophical pessimism" article. Alice793 (talk) 20:26, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I propose merging the article Pessimism controversy into History of philosophical pessimism. I think the content in Pessimism controversy can easily be explained in the context of History of philosophical pessimism, and a merge would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in History of philosophical pessimism.Alice793 (talk) 20:36, 15 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
