Etymology
[edit]Who is Palmer notation named after? He's referred to in the article simply as "Palmer". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Designboy (talk • contribs) 19:44, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

⏇ (U+23C7 DENTISTRY SYMBOL LIGHT DOWN AND HORIZONTAL WITH WAVE)
[edit]The symbol ⏇ redirects here, but it's not mentioned in the article. What is it used for? —80.192.177.23 (talk) 23:44, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm wondering this too, theres a bunch of similar symbols in Miscellaneous_Technical#Block, they start with "DENSITRY SYMBOL ...". --GoodClover (talk) 10:34, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Verbal expression
[edit]The article goes on a bit about the problems & solutions of depicting the characters, but doesn't say anything at all about how one would say the notations out loud. Any information on this would be very satisfying to my curiosity. -- J. Randall Owens (talk) 02:44, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
