Regarding terrorism
[edit]There were certainly terrorism involved in several cases, which is why those articles got the cat about that. But to classify the whole conflict as such is new to me. --IRISZOOM (talk) 21:26, 17 February 2015 (UTC)
What I wrote three months ago still stands. Attacks like Avivim school bus bombing is already tagged with the Category:Palestinian terrorism but to classify the whole conflict as "terrorism" is another thing. Then you can as well add cats relating to for example massacres by Israel to articles about the bigger conflict. Would you also then add attacks in Gaza that have been described as massacres (such as in Shuja'iyya or Khuza'a) to any of the wars or larger conflicts there like 2014 Israel–Gaza conflict? --IRISZOOM (talk) 22:18, 16 May 2015 (UTC)
Avivim bombing
[edit]The article attributes it to the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP - which actually had a different name at the time), but the perpetrators actually belonged to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLP-GC), a completely different group. The Wikipedia article for the bombing, in fact, attributes it to PFLP-GC. The given date may also be wrong. Daydreamers (talk) 23:15, 28 January 2019 (UTC)

Remove Syria from the list of belligerents, it does not make sense. Hafez had ousted the PLO supporting Salah Jadid. There is zero citation for Syria in this article (meaning it should not be presented) it isn't even in the category of wars that Syria has fought in. 218.186.135.10 (talk) 23:26, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. The article currently has sourced references to Syrian involvement in the conflict. See, for example, the section titled "The Lebanese Civil War (first phase)". Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 23:06, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
The (First Phase) section has citations for Syria aiding the Maronite government but none for it switching sides
[edit]Syria supported the Maronites as per the source but there is no proof that Syria switched sides to then support the PLO. So please remove Syria as an ally of the PLO and perhaps add it as a Third Combatant — Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.186.135.10 (talk) 04:58, 18 February 2020 (UTC)

Israel-Hezbollah conflict?
[edit]That was decades of occupation. It was a complete occupation. Not a “conflict” Lebanesebebe123 (talk) 16:48, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
- See Israeli occupation of Southern Lebanon. Selfstudier (talk) 16:54, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
- That link should be added to this article, not “Israel-Hezbollah conflict”. Lebanesebebe123 (talk) 01:03, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

Change https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athens_International_Airport to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ellinikon_International_Airport
REASON: Article makes reference to a 1968 attack at Athens airport, which contains a hyperlink to the page [1]. This is incorrect, since that airport only came into operation in 2001.
The airport at which the 1968 attack took place was the old Athens Airport: [2]. The hyperlink should be altered accordingly Jeepvee (talk) 23:30, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

REMOVE: "At the time, PLO's objective was to establish a single democratic state in all of historical Palestine with equal rights for Jews, Muslims in Christians"
This point has minimal sources. According to your other article at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amin_al-Husseini, the PLO was starkly against the Jews in Palestine and had connection with Nazi Germany. 2605:59C8:13B5:B610:4067:FBB1:4CF8:2064 (talk) 17:46, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
- Additionally according to your other article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine_Liberation_Organization#:~:text=After%20concluding%20the%20meeting%2C%20the,and%20the%20liberation%20of%20Palestine.) "the PLO was founded on 2 June 1964. Its stated "complementary goals" were Arab unity and the liberation of Palestine." 2605:59C8:13B5:B610:4067:FBB1:4CF8:2064 (talk) 17:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
