The Venetian notion of a palace is understood as being similar to that of other cultures.
Though both Palazzi Barbari are comprised of two joining palaces in both the San Vidal location and the San Vio location, Palazzi Barbaro is still often thought of as a singular structure. Specifically calling both palaces "Palazzo Barbaro".
"The Glorification of the Barbaro Family" was once located in the library of Palazzo Barbaro at San Vidal.
