Page Merging
[edit]I am in the process of merging the Packaging Testing page to Package testing. I have copied the content from the Packaging Testing page and created a redirect on the old page. Right now I am cleaning/editing the copied content to make the final page look nice. Once I am done hopefully you will like my changes. Mazevedo87 (talk) 15:49, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Clean up
[edit]Thank you for merging. There seem to some sections that are redundant: no need to say something twice. I am still trying to make sense of the charts - - - they do not seem to clarify the material for me: I'll try a little longer. Also, there are some types of package testing that are not covered so far. The distribution package testing is covered well. We need more primary packaging and consumer packaging. - The two large tables seem to be mixtures of individual test methods, test compilations, and special protocols. The do not clarify the subjects but rather raise more questions. They have to go. Pkgx (talk) 15:58, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Wow, this is good
[edit]What a well-considered and planned article this is. It needs cleaning, expansion, and some revision but this article has a lot of potential to be authoritative on testing packaging. Blue Rasberry (talk) 19:13, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
ASTM D1980
[edit]A recent edit updated the title to ASTM D1980: thank you. I have removed the Note, however. The format used so far is to have a brief discussion followed by a list of relevant test method standards. This Note does not belong in the list; It should either be in the discussion section or in th article on Medical Devices. Also there would need to be a citation regarding the "sterile fluid path"; this claim cannot stand without a reliable citation. Let us know your thoughts. Pkgx (talk) 18:14, 5 April 2023 (UTC) .
