[edit]Pal Kiraly was born in 1880 and died in 1965.
I've found a biography of him here, http://www.sunblest.net/gun/Bio.htm, and I did a cut&paste +some detail editingo to expand the page. I've removed from the original piece of the address linked the factoid that Kiraly designed the FAMAS French assault rifle, the Famas and other weapons using the same working principle were inspired (or, simply, were a copy) of the original Kiraly's mechanism, but were designed by other people that used his recipe.
