Merges

[edit]

I think this article could use a sort-of aftermath section, with what medals were doled out, what documentaries made about it, etc. In that view The Battle for Marjah and the top portion of Timothy Ryan Sparks should probably be merged here. Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Operation Moshtarak. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

explanation

[edit]

WRT the explosion of 2010-02-18, I modified a passage that referred to an IED, and used the passive voice. Many times a bomb is triggered by an observer, who is using hidden wires, or a radio-controlled detonator. I thought the passive voice suggested the bomb was triggered by a hidden observer. All the sources I read said the Marines opened a booby-trapped door. I changed the wording. Geo Swan (talk) 00:33, 19 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
