Overall: @Your Power: Good article but I don't really think the hook is interesting. Could you propose another hook? Also need a QPQ. Onegreatjoke (talk) 19:05, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Onegreatjoke: Can I suggest one myself, in the meantime? Let me know if this could be OK.
- ALT1b: ... that a song from SZA's 2022 album, SOS, pays tribute to her grandmother, who died from Alzheimer's disease during the LP's recording sessions? Oltrepier (talk) 15:38, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- I find that one too convoluted to be interesting. And @Onegreatjoke I agree the other ones aren't that eye-catching either, so here's one that's a little more narrative-heavy:
- ALT2: ... that upon learning of her grandmother's death while creating an album, SZA memorialized her by having one of its tracks begin with her voice? Elias 🌊 💬 "Will you call me?"
📝 "Will you hang me out to dry?" 16:54, 27 February 2023 (UTC)- For an ALT3, which I prefer the most because it's a little more outside-the-box compared to most song hooks: ... that a woman who died from Alzheimer's was memorialized by her granddaughter through posthumous vocals in a song? Elias 🌊 💬 "Will you call me?"

- @Your Power: A QPQ is still needed. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 16:09, 26 February 2023 (UTC)
- Will get to this soon -Elias
- I'd like to second the proposal for ALT3. It's pretty unusual and intriguing and isn't reliant on knowing SZA is. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 03:38, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you NHL ^^ And the QPQ is done ftr - @Onegreatjoke can we get an update on how this looks now? Elias 🌊 💬 "Will you call me?"

Lead and infobox
- "backed by acoustic guitar" an acoustic guitar?
- Rewritten
Background
- "for its vocals and eclectic musical style" nitpick-y but "SZA's vocals and its eclectic musical style"?
- Tweaked. I prefer "the eclectic".
- "The roster ranged from Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and Olivia Rodrigo; to Doja Cat, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar" interesting, but what makes you grouop Eilish/Styles/Rodrigo into one group and Doja/Drake/Kendrick into another?
- Billie/Harry/Olivia are more of singers, and Doja/Drake/Kendrick are more of rappers. Listing them in an "A, B, C, D, E, and F" format feels flat and uninteresting, and "from A, B, C; to D, E, F" adds more flair.
Music and production
- "backed by finger-picked acoustic guitar" ditto "a finger-picked acoustic guitar"
- Done
- I am uncertain if we need to capitalize "Black" as in "Black woman"
- MOS:RACECAPS permits either capitalization
- "a departure from his usual sound" some more context on Scott's "usual sound" is helpful here
- Also done
Release and reception
- "appears as the twentieth track" shouldn't it be "20th" for consistency?
- I'd move "Note 3" one sentence prior and only include the Observer ref for Empire's comment
- +1 for both
- Any particular reason why the names of the critics for Variety (Amorosi) and the LA Times (Wood) are omitted?
- Not really, I just thought they'd clutter the prose initially, but on second thought there's no harm naming them. Done
Verdict
- Overall a very solid article. My comments above are by no means detrimental to quality. Putting this On hold until all my comments are addressed. Ippantekina (talk) 16:36, 25 March 2023 (UTC)
