Rename
[edit]There was a suggestion made to rename this article; please see the discussion at Wikipedia:Reference desk/Archives/Entertainment/2008 February 1#Pulp Fiction. --Cinematical (talk) 22:08, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
- I have moved the article from Nonlinear (arts) to Nonlinear narrative as the article doesn't contain any other uses of nonlinearity in the arts besides its use in narrative. dissolvetalk 15:55, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
I kinda think it's weird that under a section labeled "film," when they list the timeframes for analyzing the developement, there's a list of some of the films that were released in that time, but then below there's an entire list of movies, repeated. i feel like there should be some kind of convergence, where the article either gets rid of the list or takes the movies out of the time and leaves them for the list. either way will get rid of the repetition of imformation and clarify the article. Reasons for nonlinear narrative
[edit]The lead currently says that nonlinear narrative is
- often used to mimic the structure and recall of human memory, but has been applied for other reasons as well."
I think a dedicated section, or at least paragraph, should say what the various reasons for its use are. I can't really get that from the article in its current form. Loraof (talk) 01:35, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
