Nicolae Ivan (bishop) → Nicolae Ivan – This Nicolae Ivan was bishop of a significant diocese in Romania for fifteen years, and sat in both the Romanian Academy and the Romanian Senate. The other one took part in one Olympiad, where he performed dismally. I rather suspect that anyone looking for Nicolae Ivan is significantly more likely to be after the bishop than the swimmer. - Oppose - The article is a stub, and the bishop is not well known. Neither is the swimmer. Neither seems more significant than the other without article expansion. --George Ho (talk) 05:27, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose both non-entities. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:32, 27 September 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose We shouldn't be bothering to do this sort of maintenance on articles that are so underdeveloped. "More significant" is a useless consideration unless there is enough significance and interest for the creation of real articles. Waste of time. Evensteven (talk) 01:23, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
- Oppose per all. Johnbod (talk) 22:19, 3 October 2015 (UTC)
