[edit]This page was a redirect to Hezbollah, but considering Hassan Nasrallah has his own page why cant he. Certainly warrants notability.Lihaas (talk) 06:13, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- There are lots of articles that mention him, but with multiple transliterations. FunkMonk (talk) 00:47, 21 September 2010 (UTC)
- He is notable because he is deputy secretary general of Hezbollah. Egeymi (talk) 06:46, 24 March 2013 (UTC)

Assassination?
[edit]I have heard of his assassination. Has it been reported in say Hebrew sources (I cannot access due to a language barrier)? I saw a post stating hershut yisrael reporting on it The Great Mule of Eupatoria (talk) 13:20, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- According to Israel Hayom and Ynet, the official target was Ibrahim Aqil. It's not yet known whether the elimination was successful. AnEmuIguess (talk) 13:41, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- The Israelis wouldn't know what they hit until confirmed by people on the ground (we do know they killed five children, though), so no, unless reliable sources report he was killed, we can't say so. FunkMonk (talk) 14:22, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- I see. I heard reports of it but wasn’t sure myself, so I didn’t change it The Great Mule of Eupatoria (talk) 14:29, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- It wouldn't even be the first time he (and others) is reported killed here either.[1] So always take such initial claims with a grain of salt. FunkMonk (talk) 14:36, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

Semi-protected edit request on 2 November 2024
[edit]I think extended-confirmed-protected edit is too much. Can you please change the protection to semi-protected edit please? Richie1509 (talk) 22:32, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- The article's talk page is the wrong place to make such a request, try WP:RFPP. - Adolphus79 (talk) 23:03, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
- Why do you think extended-confirmed-protected is too much? IPs and accounts without EC are not allowed to edit the article. They are only allowed to submit edit requests. Sean.hoyland (talk) 17:59, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
