Year: 1994 or 1995?
[edit]This page previously said that the year of the movie was 1994, but IMDB says 1995. Accordingly, I have changed the year to 1995 on this page. If someone can do some research and finds out that IMDB happens to be incorrect, please fix it. --Josh1billion 01:16, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
Faustian Myth
[edit]Does anyone know if the parallels with faustian myths are deliberate - is it a Robert Johnson/Crossroads influence at play here? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The duke of hazzard (talk • contribs) 19:39, 6 April 2007 (UTC).
Film or music video?
[edit]This is listed as a short film over on the Snoop Dogg page, but a music video here. Isn't it a video? Tayquan hollaMy work 02:34, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Because it doesn't have a disambig page. It is the name of a video and a DVD film. The DVD consist of compiled music videos filled into a short movie about Snoop's fictional death. There's a scene when he dies and meets the devil. Though the segment is an excerpt of the DVD it later became a music video on his own. Also with the help of radioplay the song charted on the Rhythmic Top 40. Lajbi Holla @ me 08:56, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- So there's a separate video and film? Tayquan hollaMy work 06:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes. But the video is embedded in the DVD (as created as an entity first thus being a part of it). Later it has been broadcasted on his own as an accompaning video for Murder Was The Case (remix!!!). Lajbi Holla @ me 09:46, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe there's some way we can make that clearer here. WOuld you mind writing something here to explain that Lajbi? Tayquan hollaMy work 01:26, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- I watched the movie, but there's so few things to write about it. But maybe this video stuff can be added. The main problem as I remember it contains several music videos (I'm not sure) : Gin & Juice, Doggy Dogg World, Natural Born Killaz (but IMDb confirms it as well). So how could they be added. Is a list enough? Maybe I should label Murder was the case (video) as the "title" segment of the VHS? Lajbi Holla @ me 10:35, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well just make it clear that it was a music video and a short film. If a list works that fine, whatever works. Tayquan hollaMy work 21:50, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
