Every article on Wikipedia is a work in progress, that doesn't change that it's a poor article and even a poor disambiguation page. tedder (talk) 16:21, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Unless you (or someone else) remove(s) the prod tag (which is how you can contest the prod), the article will be deleted. But if the prod is constested I'll probably take this to AfD, where the larger community can weigh in on the matter. Please also see WP:MOSDAB. Valfontis (talk) 17:18, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, it is unlikely any of these would ever become articles, but notability is about if we have articles on the schools, not if we mention them. The page does need to be cleaned up and have the blue link go to the school district where there is coverage of the school (if possible), as that is what disambiguation pages are about: get readers to the information they are looking for. If someone types in Muir Elementary School, they will end up here, and then could select a link to find out some information about the particular school they are looking for. In general, these types of pages are kosher with MOSDAB, as there is not a requirement for a redlink (or a blue link for the title item in each listing), which is why I started Lincoln Street Elementary School and Lenox Elementary School. To me, this is part of the notability is only about if we have a standalone article on something, and we still want to serve the readers by getting them to the information they are seeking. Now that information may end up being that we don't any information, but they should know that as well. Additionally, in time, once FUTON bias is overcome, I think we will find more primary schools are indeed notable and end up with articles. Aboutmovies (talk) 18:37, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
