There is no evidence on worldcat, or on the diocesan website that it was ever called Diocese of the Platte. Its was the Missionary District of the Platte, Laramie, Kearny, Western Nebraska and at some point was promoted to diocese under the latter name.--Bellerophon5685 (talk) 03:46, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think I recall that I was working from the Red Book when I created the article. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a copy at the moment. I don't think it's a huge issue in any case. BPMullins | Talk 18:33, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
