Other Names

[edit]

The subject has stated in an episode of his series, Beer and Board Games, that he welcomes the inclusion of names such as Terry Kwazo and Mattrick P. Sloan to be listed as aliases on his Wikipedia Page. However, because there are 6 years worth of episodes which all follow the same format, tracing back this particular comment to the certain video in which he said it has proven difficult. Can anyone find this video, so we can settle this dispute? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philosophile60 (talkcontribs) 19:29, 6 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What is needed is an independent, reliable source that disucusses alternative names - that he himself "welcomes the inclusion" is not particularly relevant. If the names were mentioned in one single video and no other sources can be found, they are by definition not notable aliases. --bonadea contributions talk 06:01, 7 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sources are now included for alternate names. Mentioned in multiple videos over multiple formats. By definition NOTABLE aliases.bonadea Needs to stop needlessly editing this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:74F8:B800:B470:A37C:74FA:5F7 (talk) 07:22, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous YouTube links are not reliable sources, and adding links with no info about what the videos are and where the info can be found is useless for readers. Please see WP:RS and once again note that we need independent sources. --bonadea contributions talk 07:29, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This looks like a pointless page. One credit to his name is not enough for a biography article, and we can't have an article to every single you-tuber that someone likes. Unless there's more information to put in the article, it needs to go.

It's not. He does the voice of Darth Vader for a lot of different things, like The Force Unleashed. He's in a lot of short films, too. --IronMaidenRocks (talk) 22:39, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mattrick

[edit]

Matt Sloan's first name is actually Matthew, as noted numerous times throughout broadcasts he appeared in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.117.246.90 (talk) 12:47, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Matrick P. Sloan" is an inside joke, originating from the video "World War Drunk - Axis And Allies Part 2" (at 4:49):

BENSON: This was your doing, Matt Sloan... Matrick P. Sloan!
{a "Matrick P. Sloan" subtitle is displayed under Sloan}
SLOAN: My first name is not "Matrick".

As he typically is referred to as "Matt" in publications, the specific "Matthew" (and/or his middle name) could do with a source. --Mashed Potate Jones (talk) 22:39, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Sloan (born 1973)Matt Sloan (voice actor) – (director) (Youtuber) (comedian) are other possibles, clearly "born 1973" is not an option. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:23, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
