Proposed merge of Media of Canada with Mass media in Canada
[edit]Same scope: "media of Canada" has from the beginning in 2003 referred to mass media broadcasting from or being published in Canada. Mass media in Canada is the preferred title per WP:TITLECON, but Media of Canada is the preferred merge target as it has by far the longest edit history (2003 versus 2011). Relies too heavily on theories of John A. Irving
[edit]I am concerned about how much this article feels like a "book report" on John A. Irving's publication, and not an encyclopedic treatment of the subject. Indeed "Irving" is mentioned in the article no less than five different paragraphs. Does anyone else have a concern about this heavy a crutch? - Hard thoughtful work (talk) 15:22, 25 May 2024 (UTC)
