I'm unable to verify the name "Lucretia H. Newman" from the listed source, "Noted Negro Women: Their Triumphs and Activities," by Monroe Alphus Majors. Can anyone provide another source or a different version of the source than what is available on Google Books? Thanks.

SusunW Thanks for responding so quickly! I should've looked at the Hathitrust version of the text before I posted the comment.I still couldn't find any mention of the "H." part of her name that is listed as part of her birth name in the Hathitrust version of Noted Negro Women. I'm working on an academic database of biographies of women, and I want to make sure that all of her names are properly listed in the database. Can you confirm that this is part of her name, or should I delete it as it seems to be an error? Evalucyalvarado (talk) 21:43, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Evalucyalvarado de nada. Women's names are always a particular problem. Not knowing the maiden name, not having the full name, not knowing later marriages, etc. I always try to add as complete information as I can to assist others in identifying women, as finding sources is often reliant on knowing who they were ;) SusunW (talk) 22:02, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
