Gascon War

What exactly is the justification for the Gascon War—whose 1303 Treaty of Paris was precisely a return to the status quo ante bellum—being declared a French victory instead of a (strategic) loss or other? — LlywelynII 11:55, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@FR1917 Please stop changing the result of the Gascon War without discussion. Please indicate why you think the result should be changed, and why you disagree with the result as stated. @LlywelynII I believe we have found someone complaining about it; hopefully they can offer a valid argument. It's always possible there are some authoritative lists of medieval European wins and losses (Jane's for CK3 players?) that call it that. It'd need to actually be fairly authoritative and be cited, though. On the numbers, they just held the land Ed gave them via trickery/dishonesty and then subsequently accepted a draw rather than risk more English involvement in Flanders... which, y'know, is a draw. — LlywelynII 04:22, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
