Section: Regional dishes of the United States
[edit]This section is very difficult to read or use, I think that the images should be downsized and moved into the second column, with the name in the first column.
I’ve looked at it in mobile and desktop versions, and it’s really confusing, and way too wide. BiliousBob (talk) 12:23, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
- Gee, I dunno. I usually look at this article on a desktop, and it looks really good to me. I just looked at it on my phone and I like that too. I don't think it's confusing at all, or too wide either. What does everybody else think? — Mudwater (Talk) 22:32, 1 April 2021 (UTC)

More barbecue
[edit]Recently an editor added Hoosier-style barbecue to the article, here. I fixed the formatting and placement of the new table row, here. But, is Hoosier-style barbecue a distinct regional style that should have its own entry? There was a previous discussion about some other entries that ended up not being included, though I was advocating for keeping them. That's at Talk:List of regional dishes of the United States/Archive 1#Barbecue styles. So, I dunno. Interested editors are encouraged to comment here (and not in the previous discussion, which is archived). — Mudwater (Talk) 10:19, 16 October 2021 (UTC)
- It's been more than a month, and no one has said anything about this. So, I'm putting back the entry for Chicago-style barbecue that was removed three years ago as part of the previous discussion. Yes, it's a thing! — Mudwater (Talk) 12:54, 20 November 2021 (UTC)
Maryland
[edit]Salwiki84, I'm not sure Maryland can be included in the Northeast? Valereee (talk) 21:36, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
thanks!
[edit]Thank you, Mudwater, I was completely confused and was hoping someone was visiting recent edits to fix anything I'd done incorrectly! Valereee (talk) 12:56, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Valereee: Yes, it's kinda confusing. For a short but pleasant trip down memory lane, check out Talk:List of regional dishes of the United States/Archive 1#Regional dishes by region section?. — Mudwater (Talk) 14:15, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- lol...so I was aware of this and apparently didn't find it confusing five years ago! Oh, my! :D Valereee (talk) 14:18, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Valereee: Perhaps this will help. — Mudwater (Talk) 14:41, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
- Definitely! It's gotten ridiculous as I age how many new learnings I have to reteach myself next time I need to use them. :) Valereee (talk) 14:59, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
