If someone has the time, why not check the list at the following URL, and import the information? http://www.philinfo.org/journals.htm

Undergraduate journals

[edit]

Are they really notable? Do they have ISBN numbers? (That's required of books, it would seem prudent to make the same requirement of journals.) Are they "available at a dozen or more libraries and be catalogued by its country of origin's official or de facto national library"? (Also required of books, but I doubt all undergraduate journals meet this requirement.) Or do they fall under self-publication? (I'm sure at least some of them do.) --D. I think they do. Do you know of one in particular that doesn't? I'd still consider them notable if they're read by people, and available in libraries, which I suspect they are, even if they have no ISBN. Llamabr 10:25, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC regarding the standardization of journal lists names. Please comment at Talk:List of journals#RFC. Headbomb {talk / contribs / physics / books} 01:38, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Does a journal have to have a Wikipedia page in order to be listed here? If not then http://www.businessethicsjournalreview.com should be added. (It has an ISSN, and is listed in the Philosophers Index.

(New topics should go below.) No it doesn't have to, although this is strongly recommended. While you are at this, why wouldn't you add a WP:STUB about the journal? Upon cursory glance it looks WP:NOTABLE. kashmiri TALK 14:38, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Article creation seems to be premature. I don't see any evidence that this journal passes WP:NJournals or WP:GNG (not too surprising for a journal that's barely in its second volume), so I would caution against creating an article for it right now. --Randykitty (talk) 16:43, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You are right, Randykitty. Retracting my previous recommendation to the journal as it fails notability criterion. kashmiri TALK 23:05, 16 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
