[edit]Spoilsbury Toast Boy wasn't released from 2010 to 2013. It was released from 2004 to 2005. (And should it actually be listed here at all? I probably wouldn't be against opening the list to any animated internet series, but it seems as though this article is just for series that have their own Wikipedia articles. If series without their own articles can be included, it's extremely incomplete.)
Also, is Mokey Mokey even a webseries? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
And does Don't Hug Me I'm Scared actually count as being animated for the purpose of this list? It uses puppets, props, and so on, and isn't really "animated," in the usual sense of the word, anyway. Alphius (talk) 21:36, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
- For Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, the article do say it
combining puppetry, live action, and styles of animation including stop motion, traditional animation, flash animation, clay animation, and computer animation.
SO I think we would count as at least partially animated. Ca talk to me! 07:28, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
Stop removing entries
[edit]Stop removing entries for not having articles, it's completely ludicrous as other entries on the list lack articles yet they're allowed to stay. You can't remove things from this list because they aren't notable, it's a list of animated internet series, not "animated internet series that have wikipedia articles" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8803:2500:99B:482E:B153:FF75:CB5B (talk) 20:03, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
Why are there some shows without links/sources?
[edit]How come some of the shows (immediately off of first glance, Like News, Baman Piderman (love that one), Candy Hole) have no links or sources? Should we get rid of those, or add proper sources/articles to prove their existance? Especially considering plenty of others (notably Battle for Dream Island) get constantly added and removed for having no proper sources. XanderK09 (talk) 19:42, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Agreed, we should set an inclusion criteria of having an article (or at least a major section in a related article). Trying to make a comprehensive list of all animated Internet series is impossible. I think the statement "This list does not include Japanese, Chinese, or Korean series, as it is much more common in these regions" is very dubious. Yes, these regions produce more animations series compared to others, but there isn't an unmanageable amount of them to just exclude them entirely. The List of anime article do not cover Internet series. Ca talk to me! 07:20, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
