@Favre1fan93: I saw that you recently reverted my update to the list's default order, so I wanted to explain why I made the change. From my experience working with similar film and TV awards lists (especially at WP:FLC), most of the "good" lists are sorted in alphabetical order instead of by date. I know why the latter happens as pages develop (it's easier to just add items to the end than to find where they go in the middle), but I think alphabetical order is more useful since that is likely the primary way somebody would search for a specific award. Sorting is technically an option, but it (a) adds an extra step for readers and (b) splits the cells spanning multiple rows, ruining those cells' utility. Does this explain why I made the change? RunningTiger123 (talk) 18:04, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, alphabetical seems more useful for navigation and logical for reading, especially now all awards have been announced, the specific date that an award was presented is irrelevant. This is only a miniseries but if it received nominations in multiple years for same award, then they couldn't be grouped if not sorted alphabetically. Thanks, Indagate (talk) 18:49, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well, I think the way to go is to have these tables sorted by ceremony date until most or all of them have taken place, then change it to be sorted alphabetically. —El Millo (talk) 10:06, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Is there anything specific that needs to be done still before this can be nominated for FLC? Do the refs for the awards need to be list defined or are they purposely how they are in the table? -- ZooBlazertalk16:08, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not to my knowledge. I think list-defining would be good, maybe consolidate some of the lead cites to fewer to cover the same info about the show? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 18:45, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well the nomination is gonna likely be removed. I missed the rule of only having one FLC until it gains substantial support. I can nominate again later or someone else can do so sooner. My first FLC has been going since June So I have no idea how much longer it'll be before I can nominate a new list. -- ZooBlazertalk08:17, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
