Storyboard Credits
[edit]Okay. I know that some editors like me said that the storyboard credits are unnecessary, but one thing to keep in mind is that they are apart of the opening credits. Like what IJBall said, "I would say that storyboard artists should certainly not be included in episode tables, unless they are "front-credited" in the episodes with the writers and directors and even then it should probably be discussed first and a consensus reached." Same applies to The Ghost and Molly McGee, which has its storyboard credits removed despite being in the opening. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 11:03, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
- @IJBall, @Jamie Eilat, @Magnatyrannus and @Magitroopa please discuss this issue with me. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 20:40, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Bit late to the discussion (was busy with stuff, sorry), but I'm generally on the side of 'if the show feels the need to put the story boarders in the opening credits, then it makes sense of the wikipedia page to reflect it'. I do recognize there is something of an issue with table squishing, but I feel we could probably figure out some way to alleviate it. (One potential idea that sprung to mind was perhaps slightly shrinking the font for some of the table boxes, but idk.) – Jamie Eilat (talk) 05:22, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- That sounds like an interesting idea. Maybe do some test edits on your sandbox and see how its executed. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 11:31, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
- The issue here is that adding another column will significantly "squish" all of the columns in the table, as the 'Writers' column is already massive. I don't have a horse in this race, but in the case of this series, adding another column to the episodes table is probably a bad idea. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 22:15, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- True, and its not helped that the first season lists too many storyboarders in the first season episodes. Maybe we can put the storyboarders on one of the columns rather than its separate column as again, their in the opening of each episode. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 22:49, 29 September 2022 (UTC)
- Or you could list the storyboarders as "notes" in the episode summaries themselves. In the case of this series, I suspect that's your best option. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 00:32, 30 September 2022 (UTC)
- Not sure if that would work though. For an episode, its unusual to list credits in a summary. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 01:59, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

"Thanks to Them" Ratings
[edit]With the episode is premiering tonight, I wanted to ask what to do when the ratings come out. Since the episode will be simulcast on both Disney Channel and Disney XD, should we group the ratings for both and add a note mentioning the simulcast (like the final episode of Phineas and Ferb), or do we just list the ratings for Disney Channel only? BrickMaster02 (talk) 13:23, 15 October 2022 (UTC)
- I grouped the ratings to be consistent with how the Phineas and Ferb article handled the simulcast. Detimer (talk) 15:35, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
Season 3, Episode 2
[edit]Found out that the second episode to the third season, entitled "For the Future", will air on January 21, 2023.[1] XSMan2016 (talk) 05:58, 9 December 2022 (UTC) XSMan2016 (talk) 05:58, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- Disney Animation Promos is a fan-run account, so unfortunately we can't cite it. We've known for at least a couple months now the titles & dates for all 3 specials (from entries on websites like EIDR, or leaks from CableForum), it's just a matter of waiting for Disney/the crew to actually announce. – Jamie Eilat (talk) 19:43, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- IDMb and Google have stated the episode is called "For the Future".[2].[3] Loafhouse (talk) 12:57, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
- Well, the Google Answer Box doesn't link to where its pulling the title from, so it physically isn't sourceable, & IMDB is considered to unreliable due to it being user-generated (see WP:IMDB). Fortunately that's all now irrelevant, since Disney Branded Television Press just gave the official announcement of the title & date. So we do now have an actually citable source. – Jamie Eilat (talk) 17:58, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Episode count for season 3?
[edit]For the half hours, should we list at 6 episodes since the # of episodes is dependent on the number of half hours? With season 3 having 3 44 minute episodes, it makes sense to list them as 2 episodes each to keep the consistency of the 22 minute series. CartoonnewsCP (talk) 00:50, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
- The number of episodes has never been dependent on runtime. The deciding factor for whether something counts as a singular episode, is if it exists as/is presented as a singular episode, simple as that. Season 3 was not designed as 3 sets of 2-parters; it's designed as 3 extra-long episodes. – Jamie Eilat (talk) 04:15, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
- I read something last year that said they had production codes of two episodes into one, though that seems not to be the case anymore. CartoonnewsCP (talk) 08:10, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Merge The Season 3 Episode Articles Into One Article Dedicated To The Entire Season
[edit]I'm not sure if the articles for the separate episodes would be notable, but what would be preferred is an entire article about the season, where each episode would prospectively get described in a way that isn't overstuffed. Besides, the episode articles themselves are rather short. BaldiBasicsFan (talk) 21:03, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
Production codes
[edit]It has been established through previous discussion, such as in Talk:List of Amphibia episodes#Regarding All In as either 1 or 2 episodes., that the DGEPress website as a source for production codes does not have the greatest reliability. For certain shows, there are cases of it omitting episodes, listing the same code for multiple episodes, or simply listing codes that don't match to other sources. There's also the fact that it only features the second half of the production codes (the part identifying the episode) while omitting the first half of the code (the part identifying the show itself).
Now, over the years, both Disney Channel and members of the show's crew have released lots of production materials from the show (storyboard animatics, character design sheets, color sheets, backgrounds, etc.), so many of which include production codes that it's possible to source from these the codes for all episodes. By comparing these to DGEPress, it becomes apparent that though dgepress' codes for seasons 2 & 3 are accurate, its codes for season 1 are mostly incorrect. Specifically, all of the codes listed by dgepress for season 1, starting with "Hooty's Moving Hassle", are off by one from the actual code.
I have therefore switched out the citation of DGEPress in the season 1 episode table, and replaced it with individual citations of the production materials for each code. Additionally, since these sources also include the first part of all the codes that DGEPress omits ("450H-"), I'm able to add that in. — Jamie Eilat (talk) 15:07, 20 June 2024 (UTC)
