Rockets never hit or targeted Israel
[edit]Recent revert:[1]
It is clear that Israel was not hit or was the target, the article says:
"Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the rocket attacks, saying that “at 11:15 a.m. the Islamic Resistance responded to the Israeli aggression by targeting the vicinity of Israeli enemy posts in Shebaa Farms with dozens of rockets fired from woodlands that are far from residential areas.”"
"The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted 10 rockets, with six falling in open areas near Har Dov on the Lebanese border. The others fell inside Lebanon."
Also the article doesn't say Snir was targeted, it says sirens were activated. Most likely because it is close by.
So nowhere is there any confirmation that any missile hit or targeted Israel. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 10:00, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- I think we should go by what the source says: "rockets [were fired] towards Israel". Even though the Golan is de jure not part Israel, Israel considers it to be their territory. Since Israel is occupying that region, this was a de facto attack on Israel. I'd like to hear what other editors think. -

(talk) 11:27, 2 November 2021 (UTC)- It was a de facto attack against Israeli-occupied territory, not Israel. The source is an Israeli source, and the Israeli source follows the Israeli pov that the occupied territory is Israel. But reading the article from a neutral pov it is clear that only the occupied land was targeted and there is no confirmation that Israel was hit or targeted. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 11:48, 2 November 2021 (UTC)
- It's Israel. Dolphinwaxer (talk) 00:14, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

Inaccurate statement about location of Hizbulla tent
[edit]The IDF responded with counterbattery fire and an airstrike that destroyed a tent Hezbollah erected in ***Israeli-occupied territory*** several months prior.
I dont see justification for calling this territory Israeli occupied. It is not on the Lebanese side of the Blue line demarcated by the UN, nor was it ever considered part of Lebanon. It is either in Israel or the Golan Heights. If in Israel, then it is Israeli territory. If in the Golan, then it is either Israeli territory (according to Israel, the USA and the Alowite Arabs living near-by) or it is occupied Syrian territory. So a more accurate statement would be **disputed territory**. Even this can mislead the reader to assume it is disputed between Lebanon and Israel, given the context of the article, when it is actually unrelated to Lebanon. So another option is ** territory dispted between Israel and Syria**. 2A02:14F:179:8F41:F96D:C84E:5A90:76A1 (talk) 12:30, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
Information is missing and lacks all recent events after October 2023
[edit]link to article with some of the missing data is here: https://www.timesofisrael.com/a-year-of-war-idf-data-shows-726-troops-killed-over-26000-rockets-fired-at-israel/amp/
otherwise you can use Israel’s tzofar or homefront command app which have all of the attack data because this is how civilians are notified about incoming missile fire. 31.154.185.94 (talk) 13:16, 7 October 2024 (UTC)
