Accuracy of the List
[edit]I'm confused by this list. It's stated to be of Hispanic-American winners and nominees, specifically born in the continental U.S., and then proceeds to list people born in Cuba, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Additionally, I would be hesitant to call Joaquín Phoenix Hispanic, despite being born in Puerto Rico, especially since his brother River is not listed here. Perhaps better criteria need to be established for this list, or it should be deleted or merged with the list for Latin Americans. Reade (talk) 20:05, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Academy Awards which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 13:19, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
Jose Ferrer
[edit]Jose Ferrer won Best Actor for Cyrano de Bergerac (1950). If I get a chance I may add it later today. Also Rita Moreno. I feel like maybe this should be merged with List of Latin American Academy Award winners and nominees. Matuko (talk) 14:25, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
