[edit]This article needs a complete rewrite - it starts off by totally confusing hydrated and hydraulic lime, two distinct chemical substances - and a vital distinction for anybody contemplating using lime plaster. Alas like the other contributor to this talk page I don't know enough to be authoritative, but almost any website discussing how to keep damp out of pre-1919 traditional buidlings is better than this.82.215.159.126 (talk) 19:42, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

This article needs help!
[edit]I came here to learn about lime plaster, but this article has not provided much authoritative information. I would undertake to improve it if I had time, and if I knew anything about the subject. (If I knew about the subject, I wouldn't have come here in the first place.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.71.119.146 (talk) 04:34, 28 June 2011 (UTC) Some photos would help to see what lime plaster is. A local plasterers talked of "dado" and think that is lime plastering but not sure?
