Pic from yard
[edit]I search "Dicentra Spectabilis" and found the page and photos of this plant. Yesterday I just took a pick of Bleeding Heart from my yard, I think it closer and more clear, so I would like to send the picture if anyone can tell me how to do it and check it for me, maybe can make a change. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.69.137.25 (talk) 03:16, 2006 April 21 (UTC)
- Hi
- you need to use the Wikimedia upload tool which is here:-
- http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard
- You then need to insert it as a file into the article. Btw it's a good idea to sign your talkpage contributions with four tildes, so we know who you are and when you wrote it (see below). Cheers.

Image confusion?
[edit]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:String_of_hearts.jpg appears to be a different species, as far as I can tell. 65.213.77.129 (talk) 19:05, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Will remove it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.71.53.126 (talk) 01:14, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Flower structure
[edit]I dont know how they reproduce.... help?
The previous unsigned comment suggests that the structure of this flower could really use some explaining, with photos. It would be better to put that on the genus page, though. It will be a while before I have any flowers available to dissect, so if anyone feels inspired to do this, it would be a great addition. The structure is quite normal, really, the parts are just a funny shape. The fruit is a normal little pod with a row of seeds inside. Nadiatalent (talk) 14:47, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
I tried to oblige you with a photo of a dissection. Note the two small sealed pockets near the pistil that contain water droplets. Why it has this subtle design is still puzzling and I will watch what the flowers do as they mature. Parveson (talk) 01:42, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
