Kraków/Jasná bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics → Kraków bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics – The IOC does not recognize joint bids per Olympic Charter. Support per IOC's official press release: [1]: Six cities have bid this time, all meeting the application deadline of midnight on 14 November. Listed in alphabetical order, the cities are: Almaty (Kazakhstan), Beijing (China), Krakow (Poland), Lviv (Ukraine), Oslo (Norway), and Stockholm (Sweden). Support. Nowadays, Olympic Winter Games typically take place at one large host city (Kraków, in this case), plus a smaller "snow resort". But, after all, it's only one host city. Referring to the 2022 bid as "Kraków/Jasna" would be like "Vancouver/Whistler 2010", "Turin/Sestriere 2006" or "Salt Lake City/Soldier Hollow/Deer Valley 2006".
